RUNNING FOR COVER

looks like we're in for bad weather once more
looks like them rain clouds mean business this time
guess I've seen dark skies and cold fronts before
just gotta find some new ways to make ugly words rhyme

ain't running for cover first sign of rain

nothing  to loose, very little to gain
let them waves break away at this beat-up old shore

gonna weather this storm, gonna keep my damn' ground
haven't come all this way not to put up a fight
when these dark clouds blow over I will still be around
I've seen clear skies before at the edge of the night

I can take these high winds, I can outlast this gale

no property here about to be put up for sale
